Cue problem with virtual dj, windows clicking soundbit noise?
Most of the time when i’m playing music on virtual dj (either version) and I press alt+1 (or whatever cor. number) to go to a cue point in my song, it goes to my cue point but it also inserts the windows click soundbit and I don’t know why. I know i’m not the only one who recognizes this. It can be pretty annoying especially if you use the cue point 2 or more times in a row.

It’s usually recommended to just turn off your Windows sound scheme if you’re working on music. That way Windows can’t intrude on your sound. There are some anecdotes about people working on headphones doing some fine-tuning on quiet passages (thus they have to turn the volume up quite a bit to hear things properly) when a Windows message suddenly pops up.

If it still gives you problems after turning off Windows’ sound effects, check your program preferences to see if *it* has some kind of sound effects, although I don’t know what sense that would make.
