Vinyl Turntable

Understanding the basics of Plates
In ever-changing world of turntablism and DJ is a false idea or belief of what exactly is scratching. Most New DJ's think they know how to scratch, but make a horrible noise with ear piercing sounds. The type of sounds that cause the dogs in the neighborhood howl.
For those who do not know what it is or how to properly scratch scratch please read carefully. In essence scratching is the movement of a vinyl LP or return to make a single blow or sound. This is the fundamental idea that has given birth to Hip-Hop and other genres of music that involve food.
Scratching a record does not move return to make a noise. If you learn to scratch can create all new sounds and rhythms of one or two records.
Scratching is a variety of forms and techniques to carry out different rhythms and sounds. Baby scratches, nicks and Juggling rhythm combination. These techniques require an optimal control of turntables and a crossfader. Beat juggling is one of the most advanced "forms" of scratching. Beat juggling is the peak of perfection when it comes to scratching. With scratching can blend into its next disc for a smooth transition. With a great balancing act of creating an entirely new pace and rhythm. In theory it is a great juggling the creation of a new song or the sound of one or two records.
So for all DJ's who think they know how to zero remember this, there is a difference between thinking who knows how to scratch and know how to zero. Namely zero is an art form. Take classes, read about the latest tricks and tips. Do something that will make you better.
