Turntable Stylus Weight

Kenwood Constant static dish?
Hello, I just bought one of the top-90 Kenwood belt driven turntable, and is in good shape and seems very solid, but I'm getting constant static when I try to play a disc. I adjusted the weight of the tone arm and anti-skating, cleaning the pen, neutralized in the static register and the box itself, and done all troubleshooting procedures I know, but no change. It's almost like the stylus is hitting the disc in the wrong angle because it avoids the grooves and playing music, but through thick static, rather than regulate the accumulation static in their own vinyl. Could a dull pencil be causing this? Any suggestions?
Sounds like it probably is a worn or damaged pencil. Another thing that can happen is a piece of rubber suspension of the needle can harden over time and cause poor tracking. A replacement stylus or a new cartridge, if you can not find a stylus for the former must be corrected upwards. Actually, it's always a good idea to replace any pen you are not 100% Insurance is in good condition. Playing discs with a style worn permanently damaged.
