Turntable Mp3 Converter
Transfer vinyl to hard disk ….?
I have an old style plate with two RCA connectors, and I want to move a load of vinyl to my hard drive/mp3…is possible to get a converter cable to go to my laptop / usb that I can do this???, I have one and tried to 2x RCA Female to 1x 3.5mm jack to goto my line into the socket, but do not want to play? ? Help me like, because I do not want to pay £ 70 for a ……… USB turntable thanks in advance ……
"You did what?" is correct. The output voltage of a standard record player is very low, between 0.15 volts and 0.3 volts. The line only accepts 1.0v signals, anything below 0.4 volts output generally lose all of it is coherance signal before it even digitally processed by the audio device. You can test your microphone into the port. Mic has a much lower and wider sensitivity among 0.05vy 0.5v. Ive done this before with an amplifier Valve-old, who had only auxiliary outputs. The signal was well below 0.5 volts, so he needed to use the microphone to get any results. Good luck.
