Turntable Motor Controller
what i meant about the stepper motor load is , can it drive a turntable carrying a 32″ tv ?
ABOUT CONTROL I MEANT WHAT CAN I USE TO DRIVE THE STEPPER MOTOR, eg PIC micro controller etc? thanks.
You can probably do it if you know how to generate the right acceleration ramps and have enough gearing and you know how to interface PIC signals to stepper motor coils. There are a lot of things that you have to get right or it won’t work.
A better question would be to ask why you need such precision to turn a TV? Surely some simple gearing on a DC motor and a direction switch would be all that you’d need?
