Looking to start as a DJ?
I was thinking of starting, and if I have good I could do maybe small local events. I have a processor with 80 + effects, a 20-watt amplifier and headphones and decent .. What is the basis we have other things like dishes and a mixer. I wonder what else I need to start? Please nothing expensive. Also I really do not want vinyl everything not know if that makes meals out of the question or not? Any other suggestions / advice is appreciated, thanks.
If you do not want to do vinyl, you have to get a couple of CD-jays, and a mixer. Mimic the sensation of moving records on a turntable, but you can use cds. They are not cheap, however. DJing is an expensive hobby, no matter how you do it. The best way to go is to get enough action to pay for music and equipment. But if you're not willing to invest in good equipment … there's really no point in trying to be a deejay.
