Turntable Distortion
how to remove turntable rumble?
tt I have a drive belt connected to a sansui akai amplifier with phono input and speakers philips. everything is fine while playing cd, dvd, tv, etc except when playing the dish. speakers come and go along with much distortion and even a hum quarter of the volume. I guess it is called noise and may damage my woofers of 8.'' and all connections are good. It is also the turntable as new please advice.
I remember reading about bearing lubrication that makes the turntable. You remove the table, clean and lubricate bearings or replace them with a smooth rotation. Hope that helps. It's been a while.
