Turntable Cartridge Guide
to replace the cartridge guide plate?
could someone explain or point me to a guide on replacing the cartridge in the arm? Only I replaced the pencil before and I have fear of breaking the cables or something!
See the link for a guide. Basically, keep protection of the needle cover in place during work, and do not use excessive force on anything. The cables and cartridge are actually quite strong … but you are right you can damage them. If replacing with a spacing of all we must establish exact replacement. Otherwise you may have to adjust a little. But the instructions, separators, etc should come with the new cartridge because the manufacturer can not be sure this is an initial installation.
