Technics Turntable Needle
spinner / cartridge / stylus problem .. help!?
I recently moved my decks to another room, were made, only to discover a head / cart was all distorted bass was in poor condition and also highs. Anyway .. after a little inspection I that either the roof or right car? Since when using the head either in the same deck that plays very well. So I bought a brand new head .. and a new Shure M44-7 mark (I'm using) .. Just set them up, and is still happening! I can not understand how that is happening at all. TT A – Play with good head / cart GOOD =. TT A – Play with the brand new head / cart = distorted. WTF ??!?!?!?!? Please help because I'm going crazy. I had decks about a month in total, Technics 1210. Shure M44-7 carts / styli.
Sounds like me having a proplem. You said you started having this problem after moving your decks. This happens to me, I moved into my covers and never checked if they were level and for some reason became distorted and then the needles began skiping to the end of the communication. If I were you checking to see if the tables are level. Sounds Corney but fixed my problem. Also, having speakers behind your decks can ruin the sound quality.
