"Air Bed" mattresses: good idea or just a bunch of hot air?
Were not the 80s great? In that decade was filled positively with many new innovations. The network of MTV, video players, the Nintendo game system, cassette tapes, and the T-top Trans Am [only to name a] all just exploded in a flowering of popular mainstream culture as the atomic bombs. Ronald Reagan was king, and the economy was booming. From By then, however, the roles have changed – and I'm not talking "player." MTV no longer plays music, videos have been replaced by DVD and Blue Ray, Mario and Luigi are old, and the iPod rules the day. Another invention 80 which is now a thing of the past [or to be considered one] is the target = "_blank" title = "Memory foam mattress"> "air bed mattress.
Now, I have to admit that the airbag was a great idea … but, hey, all in the 80s was cool. The concept of this bed was quite innovative, but ultimately, I'm afraid it's proven to be just a bunch hot air. So why do people still on the market for these things, anyway? Like buying an outdated VCR or a phone home with a long cable, one must ask: what's the point? Unless you like to take twenty minutes to rewind the tapes, or prefer the idea of tripping with the telephone cable 36-feet in length every two minutes, just do not make much sense. The problem with the air "bed" can be easily identified by their own name, is made of air!
Just consider the inherent problem: anything with air leaks. From the tires to the balloons, all which is filled by inevitably leaks and therefore maintenance free. Mattresses, of course, are no different. How many times have you been camping and decided to take an air mattress with you? At least once every time you made such a trip, I'd be willing to bet. I'd be willing to bet that you spent half the night to appreciate nature's bounty just trying to keep it inflated Dang. And let me guess: you're thinking, "Yeah, but those are the cheapest to buy at Wal-Mart! What about strongest permanent ones? What about the guy with the remote controls? "Trust me when I tell you they have their problems too. Stay tuned, and inform you about what they are.
The so-called "permanent" air bed is composed of one or two cameras air that are built inside a polyurethane, vinyl, rubber or container. Without trying to get too technical here, I will say that this container is covered with a a layer of canvas or other fabric material. Based on the same air chambers are one or two tubes, depending on the number of cameras it contains. These hoses are connected to two valves that are integrated into a inflate to an inflated air mattress. In the case of a double bed chambers, relays can be controlled with a system of two remote controls to adjust the air pressure [thus changing the firmness of the mattress foam cushion> on each side of] the bed. Very clever idea, right?. There is still ever-present possibility "that the mattress [leaks and especially the vinyl ones after] the frequent use, among other problems: What if it breaks the air inflate? What if the remotes fault? And someone has seen some children the best time of their lives jumping up and down on a bed with all his strength? Do not know about you, but I'm sure would not want the headache of worrying about my kids doing something to break the mattress Air sensitive. But the warranty covers it, right? Well, no … that is what we might call "highly improbable", as most mattress companies Air do not offer guarantees of long standing. And, as with anything else you buy: the cheaper the model, the skimpier the warranty. The company will be happy to explain you, I'm sure that if "misuse" the bed, can not be held responsible. Oh, and something smaller. Air mattresses are very dangerous! "Beds air "have been known for years to quell the children during the night to falls and folds on the bed caused by deflation. Of course, could air bed give you a good night's sleep – but keep in mind that could be permanent.
So let's talk about alternatives, it is evident that the air cushion is out. If you're anything like me, the pricetag on one of these things [over two thousand dollars in some cases] seems a lot and the security is typically not better. My suggestion to you in your place: a memory foam mattress. Are becoming more and more affordable, and your chances of an ulcer due to maintenance frustrations are slim to none. The best part is: no worries about children getting sucked into a deadly mattress at night. title = "memory foam mattress" Memory Foam> is recommended by doctors advise patients with chronic pain because it is easy to maintain [uninflated or pull] may be necessary, relieves pressure and increases blood flow throughout the body – all of which means better overall health. Not only the memory foam is kept constantly and having to be concerned about the wear, may even have to save the annoying doctor appointments, too. And that, my friend, is even better than your favorite mix 80-tape … as if that were possible.
