M-Audio introduced the new CX Series Active Monitors Studiophile reference

The CX Series Studiophile line is based on M-Audio's biggest selling studio monitor, and offers excellent off-axis response, minimal distortion and a full range Acoustic Space Control. Available in 8 inch (CX8) and settings (CX5) of 5 inches, the CX Series Studiophile monitors offer well-balanced sound and superior detail in a wide range of environments. The new monitors feature a waveguide as a scenario designed to provide huge sound – ultimately offering customers greater flexibility in the production suite. CX5 Studiophile Monitor fits into smaller rooms mixing home studios or workstation areas where users require audio quality references. CX8 Studiophile Monitor is ideal for medium to large mixing and reference environments.
New features of CX Studiophile monitors range include: • Exceptional design integration: Provides margin higher frequency response exceptionally accurate and efficient, minimize distortion and enables you to listen longer duration.
