if I had 500 to 750 to spend on a mixer, dual CD player amplifier and two speakers (large packets)?

what it would take so I've been watching DJ packages so you get a completely new system for an upcoming house party. I just need some advice on what brands are reliable and what would be a good mixer. I was thinking of getting a mixer and CD player combined type as the series Gemini CDM. I've seen online packages that include this mixer. Speakers do not really want since you can change to a more powerful subs that I have, which means it would be better to have a separate amplifier and thus only the amplifier can change later to give more power to the submarine stronger. I'm sorry if that seems inconsistent, but if any of you have purchased a package online all the dj and have any recommendations or if you just could name some good brands that would be helpful. I know that brands are not everything, but I bought some more cheaper brands that have the bad customer support or supply capacity misadvertise so I do not want that again …. THANKS!
