What is the best way to connect a home theater system? HELP?
What connections and cables must be used to obtain the best possible the features and quality … I have the latest equipment and all cables. There are a variety of ways of connecting everything. The fonts look like Sony and each of the manufacturers components have a different way to connect. What hook that where and how is my quetsion cable …… The components include: 1. TV (Sony SXRD) with 2 HDMI inputs and plenty of other audio and video connects 2. HD cable box (Scientific Atlanta 8300HD) w / HDMI, component, composite and optical didgital 3. DVD Recorder (LG 19F19) w / HDMI and a host of other connections 4. VCR (Sony 679) with standard input and output composite coaxial and 5. AV receiver (Onkyo 604) w / 2 HDMI,, Composite optical element 3, etc. Thanks to all who care to advise me ….. on how to connect all this up. I've had it! I have all the wire so let your imagination run wild …. DJ
