Record Players

Does anyone know old record players a lot?
I have an old turntable, and it worked wonderfully for a couple of months. But recently stopped come through the speakers. I can still hear the song that is playing the needle when I listen attentively, but no speakers. Can diagnose someone from just knowing it? * If you are going to take me somewhere, then please skip this question * thanks!
Take somewhere. Kidding. You do not say if this is a one-piece unit with the amplifier and speakers, or is a dish that is connected to an amplifier and / or separate speakers. When connected to a separate amp, then I would test that separately connect a radio or CD player in it. If the speakers are separated, you can test testing of as well. Even if it is one piece, which could have an auxiliary input you can connect something else to see it amplified. If so, then the problem on the plate. If not, is in the amplifier. If you can not do any of that evidence, or if you have done the tests and determined that the problem is with the amplifier so I would look for a blown fuse in the amplifier. This can be accessed from outside or you may have to open the box. Just look for something that looks like a fuse and see if it is burned. worst, if not a fuse or a connection, it is probably a blown circuit board that probably can not be replaced.
