Has anyone heard of “A Premier Entertainment”?
My fiance insists that this is the DJ to go with, but they’re a little heavy on the price. Are they worth it? They do a wonderful light show, they’re music is o.k. I love how they throw their parties but is over a thousand dollars o.k. for a dj budget? If you heard of them, let me know what you think? If not do you think I should go with them? I found a dj that only charges $750.
I used them (but this was 8 years ago). I shopped around a lot and found them to be the best deal for a quality job.
Does your DJ guarantee who will actually be performing the services at *your* wedding? Have you checked references? (You can usually get excellent info on a vendor by asking your *other* vendors. Does your reception hall know of this guy?Has the caterer ever seen his show? Did your tux rental place ever hear any horror stories about him?) Ask where the DJ is playing this weekend and show up for 20 minutes. If you are confident that your $750 DJ will do a good job, then go for it.
Keep in mind that a DJ holds a lot of power in how the festivities are perceived by your guests. A good DJ can make a so-so reception seem much better. Not much can be done once a bad DJ starts spinning vinyl. Make sure you know what you are buying. Good luck!
