Can I use a higher grade wire for a very low power car amplifier?
Hi!
I have a car amp wiring kit that is rated 100 watts to 1000 watt car amplifiers. The amplifier I have has a maximum power output of 50 watts with a built in 8″ speaker. If I use a speaker that is rated for an amp much higher in power will it work at all? Will it affect sound quality and also is it safe to do?

Perfectly safe. Its an overkill. You just wont get the most sound of the speaker if its rated much higher than the amp.
