any music lovers out there!?

I have been asked to book a band for our prom. We usually get small to medium renowned artists and im at a loss. We have had girltalk, zion i, but both when they were less known and upcoming. Last year we had the cataracts (for anyone in the bay area). I need to figure out who i should ask. I was considering milkman? dj earworm any other ideas? range of around 10, 000 preferably less
