Marantz Turntables

sanyo I have my old record player connected to my system and the volume is not strong, even turned all the way on high.?
my amp and preamp is acurus and marantz tuner is. turntable is connected correctly. thx
Check that the turntable outputs are connected to the RCA jacks. The output of a cartridge plate is so small that you need extra amplification obtained with RCA jacks for listening to music.
