Is my mixer works?
I have a Gemini PS-727 Mixer DJ turntables. I was wondering … if someone with experience could answer this DJ question. I have my headphones plugged into the mixer, but when I'm mixing in the headphones I can hear what you do with the crossfader. Is that normal? Before I got into turntablism I've always thought that was supposed to listen to two phono inputs if the crossfader is moved or not. Is that correct? Or is my mixer working properly? Thanks
Depeds where you are connected to the mixer. I'm not completely familiar with the table, but I imagine there are separate outputs for mixing a (pre) mix 2 (pre), crosfade (post). And dude, I'm Ryan D too! Yes!
