Federer Beats Djokovic

ATP Tennis – Federer will face Djokovic in semifinals at Rome Masters
The 27-year-old Swiss Roger Federer and world No. 3 Novak Djokovic will meet again after their last meeting in Miami. Both are really excited about the confrontation and hope to have a great game of tennis. Both players had great matches in the quarterfinals. The world No. 2 reached the semifinals after defending German Mischa Zverev 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 while the Serbs had a great match against Juan Martin del Potro, in which the world No. 3 defeat the Argentineans with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
In the last 10 meetings between the two, Federer has won eight games, however in the latest fighting Djokovic played in great shape and beat the Swiss 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals at the Open Sony Ericsson. Now the Swiss is looking forward to play a better game against Djokovic and hopes to increase his game and his confidence with a win in Rome. However, it should be mentioned that Serbian is playing great tennis on the clay surface and even the addition of a set of victory against the king of clay Rafael Nadal in the final in Monte Carlo.
"We have not had much to each other than on clay. Looks like he's playing well again. Djokovic came through very convincing against good players, so hopefully a good match. I hope I can play better than in Miami. I think wherever you go, there's always pressure involved because I keep thinking people expect me to go away and win tournaments and so on, "said Federer.
During the quarter-finals, Federer struggled in the first set against the German, but with big shots at key moments of the tie-break he managed to win the set 7-6 (3), which gave him the confidence to play at their best and achieve success by winning the second set comfortably 6-2.
Moreover, Djokovic had an incredibly clever game against Argentina, which tried to avoid change the rhythm, but Djokovic took advantage of Del Potro incredibly well and definitely could not go with him. With three breaks in the first set and an ace on point adjustment Djokovic showed his mastery over Del Potro. And even though Juan Martin Del Potro improved his serve in the second set, which was not enough to tie the game and Djokovic won a final victory with a score of 6-4 in the second set.
Now, these two players expect a great game and try to win and get the ticket to the final. The two had their own reasons for this; Federer waits for his first title of the season to regain their confidence and Serbian goal of defending his title and improving his clay season this year. We wish the best for both in this tournament and the rest of the season and hope to see a large semi-final in the Rome Masters.
