Dj Tiesto Kaleidoscope Album
What happened to Tiesto?
, I have come round so just listen to the album Kaleidoscope (late then never again), and made me feel good deflation – Tiesto used to be so inventive, the king of dance music. He was voted the best DJ in the world, three consecutive years and now it's just type of poppy house music. What happened to issues such as Suburban Train, Traffic, Adagio for Strings, Ayla, etc etc etc? Why did you feel the need adding voices to all your tracks – I'm all for him to diversify and trying different styles, but where is the energy? arousal? Is it me?
I'm probably not qualified to answer this question because I've only heard one track from the album ("Feel It in my bones", with Tegan & Sara). Really, really enjoy this song. And from samples of 30 seconds I heard on iTunes, I can say that the rest of the album also sounds awesome. Why add voices? I'm really glad you did. Without voice, I feel like I'm listening to noise. Voices add some kind of structure, together with something to sing. Although, I admit that I really like the songs you listed several. Tiesto guess he feels the need for change.
