What (if anything) I have to buy to make a functional drum machine?
My brother wants to try his luck with electronic music. I have decided buy him a drum for her birthday, but I know nothing about electronics. I've been leaning towards some of the series Dr. Rhythm BOSS (good? / Bad?). For some reason, all online product descriptions are geared towards people with experience of DJ. My questions are very basic: drum machines to support self-reproduction, or I have to buy speakers? Does the machine require additional equipment, or can be used independently? I am sure that the time going to get more teams, but for now just really want the drum machine. Also, does anyone know of any book that can give a little guidance / help. Thanks in advance.
Great gift and a great brand to go with. First, is the brother of a musician? If so, sneak around their things and looking for a guitar / bass / keyboard amplifier. If you find one, check if you have 1 / 4 "inputs labeled" AUX IN ", if your amp has one, then you can simply connect the drum machine and play on the sound coming out of the amplifier. If not, do you have a PA system? Probably, if a DJ, but check out what we already has, and hopefully the team and must be compatible.
