I'm trying to continue to mix. Advice?
So I'm trying to continue to mix. I took a class at the Academy of Dj Zero in New York, and I know basics. I have about two dozen records … and just upgraded to the technique. My frustration is mostly found in beatmatching / BPM … and a little with the Scratch … to come. Anyway, I'm thinking of buying Serato, is the right time? I think it will help me progress, or I have to take this step too soon? Thanks for any advice
A large number of local hotels and clubs and DJs often have assistants or train others. Ring some hotels and see that they use and then ring the DJs – who might let you train with them at work.
