Certainly not rock. I guess that it could be vaguely under the umbrella of pop….hm… anyway…
Dälek rhymes about better days in hip-hop, and his disenchantment with the current state of hip-hop and rap, while Oktopus creates sonic swells with samples of guitars and organs that are reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine and the Jesus and Mary Chain, rather than his rap DJ brethren. It’s an early favorite of mine in 2009.

I like this one *a lot*. Musically it really is a huge departure from the rest of the hip-hop pack…the textures made it very relaxing to listen to.
