What are the "play out" ports on my receiver?
I want to use my receiver to control volume and high / low of a signal audio. I put the entry that says "Input" (RCA red and white), and then "play out" ports to lay a cable from there to my amp dj. I get no sound. There are no speakers connected to the amplifier (via speaker cable), why I can not use it as a volume control (something like a pre-amplifier, I guess)?
