Numark DJ is one worth buying in the box to DJ scratching?
I begin to mix and scratch at home. I've been doing some research online on different types of turntables, mixers and techniques. I found the whole into a DJ in a game box, and thought it was a good deal for someone who only want to pick it up as a hobby. I know that the direct drive vs belt drive is better if you want to be a scratch DJ, but it is the purchase of this kit is worth it, or should I spend my money on one plate and a mixer?
If you want to practice, you need players and a mixer. I say get the DJ in a box. Get decent mix. Get some money (concerts). Get a better team when you can afford. Good luck.
