Dj Lighting Setups
Lights controlled by sound?
I would like to give the music i play at home a little bit more depth via lighting… I listen to electronic dance music, and as such the whole the flashing lights and effects would be a great addition.
So, my question: what would be an efficient setup for some in-home lighting that would pulse to my music? I have seen case lighting for PCs before, but that’s really not what i’m looking for. I’m also not afraid to spend a little bit of cash to get it set up (a couple hundred bucks is doable, anything more than that would be unreasonable).
I’ve seen various light controllers from places like american DJ, but i don’t know how they work. Not afraid to learn though.
Sorry for the wall of text, but can anyone help?
When you go to buy one ask the people who are selling it too you how it works and how to set it up. No one can tell you how to set up a piece of equipment that you don’t even own yet. You can buy them or make them… just do some research on what set up is best for what your working with.
