Is monogamy a thing of the past?
Today when I was riding in to work I was listening to the radio and the dj is talking about a music artist by the name of Akon who is African and how he is a polygamist, which means more than one wife. His father had three wives and he has more than one and many people called in saying that they did like the idea and accepted it as way of life and there were some who were full americans who were raised in a home with two mothers who did not mind him slipping out in the middle of the night to the woman’s room. What is the world coming to, is sharing partners now just a normal thing at all?
Please comment and be honest would you or would you not be in polygamy relationship why or why not?
I could never be in a polygamist marriage. I could not share my husband with another woman. He could not share me with another man. I am sure that even though these people say that it is all happy, there has to be a lot of hurt and jealousy going on. For me….absolutely not because I love my husband too much to share him and if he had divided affections and loyalties, it would destroy me. NO.
