Straight burning: 03/31/09 ECW Report for
ECW is RAW?
Well ladies and gentlemen, let me begin by welcoming you to the new report ECW! I want to send a special thanks to The Glide for being a great reporter for the ECW for a long time! Now go ahead .. This weeks ECW was mostly a crude Recap so before entering the results of the fair. Let me give you my Wrestlemania predictions very quickly. Please feel free to leave your comments on my selections, and like anything else your little hearts desire!
Money in the Bank
I usually get bored with all participants also in this stretch years .. Due to a very mediocre if you ask me .. Mark Henry, Finlay and Kane have nothing to do in this game, but I digress. I think the winner of this match will be CM Punk for the second year row. I think I want him to have a decent career early next year with the title and a WM title match it possible participation. Them is primed to be a big star and this would make sense. Last year we had to prematurely cash in his case because of all injuries affected the WWE. Mention honorable to possibly take home a briefcase would be Christian tune. Although I did not see it as well as I do not see MVP win either. I know you are pushing, I do not think he is ready for the main event.
25 Diva Battle Royal
Well .. I dont give a shit about this game that is less that somehow Lita get back. They already have other divas coming back to the Battle Royal including many reports Trish Stratus. So you can expect to see Trish get away with the title Ms Wrestlemania. But I'm pulling Santino to somehow get their way in the match and win. That would be the highlight of Wrestlemania!
JBL v Rey Mysterio by the IC Championship
If Rey Mysterio wins .. I'm going to endless trouble .. JBL is going to retain and retire at WM as Intercontinental Champion making history. Then I hope again as the commentator on Smackdown, because gold is the microphone. After JBL falls hopefully bring some credit back to the band and maybe even have Rey Rey have a decent reign with her even though I can not be strong and I think it should be in the Hall of unemployment Braden Walker.
Miz v Morrison settlers from the Unified tag titles
Miz and Morrison are by far the best tag team in wrestling right now with the much improved and the ever talented Mrs Morrison doing amazing things on the mic and in the ring. They deserve to win this game and am getting them too. Miz and Morrison become your ONLY Tag Team Champions! They deserve this title more than the settlers or any other person in the WWE and if they can not win, then it is a shame.
Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy v
This feud has been anything but spectacular .. It has been completely mediocre and I think WWE really dropped the ball on this one .. The hype might have had to enter this party would have been out of this world! For some reason I havent given this fight any time to grow or actually gain speed. I think it would have been better to go with Christian and Edge using the plot more. Way to go Vince, but shook smarks shit together a fief.
HBK v Undertaker
This is by far the best match most publicized night and going into WM. You have two legends of the company is facing off against each other and promotions have been outstanding, as well as bullets. I I think this seriously steal the show greatly. The Undertaker will not lose to HBK streak has no meaning in it. If it does then the WWE will dropped the ball on an opportunity for young immediately. Undertaker wins!
John Cena v Edge v Big Show Vickie love … and the World Heritage Centre
This feud is not coming along as I expected .. Sick of seeing it everywhere turn Vickie .. So I'm just gonna make the simple choice .. I think John Dinner champion leaves and then loses to table in the coming weeks .. John Cena is the best of workers and the biggest star you have in the company, so expect him to collect this important victory WM.
HHH v Randy Orton for the WWE title
So many people have predicted for this game and think that either will enable The McMahons and HHH do so Orton is their golden boy. People are saying that going to see a HHH / Steph heel turn back and go against McMahon Orton becomes the face … But no matter how you look .. I think you have to give the title to Randy Orton. He is the second hardest type of work you got everything .. So give him the title, Randy Orton FTW!
Now that the main Wrestlemania predictions are out of the way lets get on ECW .. It started with a tag match featuring Mark Henry and Kane play Christian v Finlay to catapult its participants in the MITB. Assuming that only know Kane is basically back to ECW, and Mark. The match itself was nothing pretty, but it was a solid little game that was basically any typical tag match we've seen of the participants MITB lately. I did not see too many mistakes and the end result was Mark Henry getting the victory over Christian with a strong blow in the world. Henry proceeded to get Kane with a clothesline and I suppose that show the world that could … actually … Ok I can not finish this statement .. Mark Henry did not win MITB …
In the main event .. So .. ECW is a match two minutes because each one is dedicated to video packages HBK / Taker, HHH / Orton, and Cena / Show / Edge .. Although I do not blame promoted by this because your three major parties only 5 days after Wrestlemania. Anyway, Who thought to see the twins shoot and fight can be so boring? I certainly do not think so. But the twins Bella made sure that people would be disappointed with this week's ECW. They had a below average game ended when Miz and Morrison distracts the referee who helped his sister Bella get the roll. To register Bella is the sister Nikki who won and is with Miz & Morrison …
In general, this series was a huge propaganda tool and without ECW Wrestlemania matches that of existence, Swagger Thanks for sucking, you get a summary of Raw basically. The show itself was poor, because of the games and have only two. The hype was obtained for WM it is great and therefore do not show a complete loss.
I wanted to comment on the ECW brand as a real quick is that this is my first article of the ECW. I think this is a good brand place to harness the talent development and you can really see people shine. Just like having Jack Swagger for example .. They're building a new things to hit the wrestling, and so far has done little to impress the fans and people in the back. Vince was very high on him and now after seeing what you can do as a champion I suppose I could see him back in FCW soon. But ECW is a good place to watch wrestling in general. There are people like Evan Bourne, Christian, TJ Wilsok (aka Tyson Kidd) DJ Gabriel, and others who put in a strong program and give entertainment games.
ECW's name should not be used in my opinion, because the E still represents the end of the last time I checked. Why have not found the old ECW is entertaining yet not change the fact that ECW is by no means extreme more. It's a show where many of the young talent and some of the veterans can show the talent they have. Teddy Long is a good fit for the GM of the fair and most of the promotions they have are for entertainment as can be. Christians return to the only brand means good things for the future of ECW as well. Do not forget they have the best color commentator probably in the company of Matt Stryker. He has done a phenomenal job as a commentator and hope to see you go far in this company.
