The producers of music does not get enough credit!
No fair!
Let me begin by expressing a pet peeve of mine. I understand that this is my burden, however, because it is something that probably will not change any time soon. I will not name any specific artists, because I do not want anyone to be unique. This is a problem that is widespread among all genres of music, so it would simply mean to call artists who do not produce their own music. Whether rock, rap, country, or whatever, all styles of music is an example of this problem.
Taking credit for others' work
By Of course, the vocal artist is part of the creative process. As it is unfair for an artist to receive all the credit, it is unfair for them to receive any of that too. Do not misunderstand me and say that the person on the cover has nothing to do with the magic of music. I'm not saying that at all. It takes talent to take an instrument and make in a catchy song. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. If the song was not written by the singer, even then that's a different story altogether, but I digress.
What the problem here is that the average person almost all the attributes of the credit for the creation of a song to the person in the album cover, and that sucks. When you talk with a friend about a song you like, usually refer to it as the title of the song "with" "The artist, right? How often bother to look at the notes and see who produced the song? Now maybe some of you. I know I do. And I know a lot of people do too. But I know that many more people who simply do not care.
Beware the Nazis Label!
You may ask "What does a music producer Do". It is not a simple cut and dry issue. When I use the term, I mean a role that sometimes is filled by two people, a producer and an engineer. Often, the term "producer" is used to describe a person who did little work. Although there is little consensus about what a producer is supposed to use, I will refer to the person who created most of the instrumental and / or mixed to be the producer. Please mind that many people refuse to think this way, and insist that the role which I refer is the engineer. For them, I merely point out that if you choose to discuss this, you are missing the point. It is not for the labels of the crew absolutely correct. This is a step back and realize that there are people behind of the mixer that are helping to make music and not getting the recognition they deserve.
The impact of a good producer
For artists who work solely a producer, this producer is directly responsible for creating his signature sound. And if someone happens to be a fan of that particular sound, then we must thanks to that producer to the entertainment in your life. If an artist goes to work with multiple producers, then that is a good indication of whether or not you like his new music. You can search was easier than his new album, and if the producer becomes a favorite on the album, then it is more likely that he likes.
The movement to achieve greater recognition for producing music is not an impossible goal. If Alfred Hitchcock could draw attention to the role of a film director and pave the way for directors like James Cameron, David Fincher, Darren Aronofsky, and Kevin Smith fans to have their own fan, then there is no reason why the music producers can not have more recognition, and its own fanbase.
What can you do?
What you want the reader to do is take some of their albums bookmarks, and read the notes. Notice that produced some of his favorite songs, and google their names. It is very likely to have a website, and a list of albums they have produced. Make a shopping list of some of the other albums they have produced. Better yet, download the songs and voice that the reason you like these songs is because the producer. Giving support to the farmer and his music!
