What's the deal with smoking cigs in bars in NY?
I remember going to a Canadian club a few years ago, smokers who did go to a room but has not 'have to leave the premises. I was not sure if it's like New York. I'm going there this weekend (not the city), smaller bar, everybody hit the streets, but there was no line / cover, so it was not a problem. I was going to a club last weekend and in the city, to see cosmic gate (dj trance), that's a good 8 + …. act of an hour from my experience with DC Once you leave you do not come back after some time .. No matter if you want pay the cover again … Also a good 45 minutes waiting in line. Just wondering what its like in New York side story, I was hoping some day smoking in a bar in New York and get arrested then take it to the Supreme Court …. but while talking with police last week … he said its not illegal to smoke in bars, only bars to obtain a fine and the staff can give me. He said that if I lit a cigarette with him, I said nothing / do nothing.
Bruce is? Bruce, all depends on the bar. Some bars have rooms for smokers and if the bar has a terrace or patio a section of a place to smoke outside. Maybe check bars website. Good luck Bruce.
