what is the best dj equipment for use with Serato?
I'm starting as a DJ, and I have a macbook with 10,000 songs on it, and just got Serato Rane as a birthday gift. But I need anything else, any help on what brand and products reach would be much appreciated.
Technics 1200 (Ie, or any variation "MK2, MK3, 1210, etc) are the industry standard dishes. They retail for around $ 400 each. However, you can probably find a used pair on Craigslist for less. Any work with Serato mixer. Nevertheless, the Rane TTM 575L is designed specifically for use with Serato, so I'll have to if you can afford. Good luck.
