What mixer will I get?
Hello, my name is Ciaran and I am a dj in the making. I want to know first if you can get mixers can take any form of entry (vinyl, ipod, cd, tape yet?), and mix (and mix two different types). If so, what are they? what is the price like? etc. Also when it comes to click ipod (do not slagging iDJ, I just do not care) is there any that fit the characteristics above and can take only an ipod (like IDJ2, but uhh jeje a little cheaper) and mix two songs from it at once. any advice is well appreciated thanks:] ciaranxxx
really depends on how much money you've gone, and what features you need. Practically all have an input mixer cd / vinyl / tape playes and switches with line and phono. If you only need a very basic mixer for mixing two songs together, you can pick up a two-channel mixer off eBay for almost nothing. For more than two channels which will cost a little more, and if you want Stuf effect and as it will cost more! Now I use a mixer numark dm3000ex and ive had no problems. The best mixer on the market in my opinion is the Pioneer DJM range, but it really depends on what features you need, what to recommend mixer.
