Broadcasting Schools in North Carolina?

Anyone know of any broadcasting school or a university that has the radio to become in a radio dj? I live in Greensboro area … Please let me know.

If you go the college route, we believe that broadcasting is best learned behind a microphone, and not in a classroom. Once on campus, immediately get involved with the radio station of the university and seek an experienced person more to mentor you. The disadvantage of this approach is basically you're teaching yourself, and upon completion of your 4 years are basically still without a network that will help you set foot in the door of a real radio station. Being in the business, I am aware of a broadcasting school in Carolina, but I'm not sure to what extent is Charlotte Greensboro. Here is the link I found for Carolina School of Radio and Television: I http://www.csbradiotv.com/ to be honest with you though. Traditional broadcasting schools suffer from a perceptual negative image in much of the industry. Loosely translated … is difficult to a job that leaves them when all is said and done, and $ 10,000 later. My observation has been that they do a good job of disseminating teaching the various arts …. although often the old computer. When they fall short, IMO, is similar to the obstacles faced by traditional college students graduation. His students are still on the outside, looking to network insiders. You've heard the saying "It's not only what you know … but who knows? "That must be their way of thinking to develop a strategy to get your foot in the door. Meet people in business, and most importantly, put yourself in situations where people in business can get to know you. Many old school stations will be advised to seek an internship, but you're not college, most of the reservation stations that today for college students only. It used to be that he could only walk up and get a internship in the streets, but rarely is that it allows more. You can try your local public access radio stations, as they are often looking for volunteers. This can take a while, however, to work your way up the ladder, but is an option for some who are not in any hurry. I'll take a few resources that can be additional support for their research on track. I recently read an in-depth report by an individual who has been in broadcasting since the 60s (when I was in elementary school) that is fired from the hip straight on his comments on the "good, better and best" way of entering broadcasting. If you are serious about taking the plunge, the report could save you thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches if acted on bad advice. You can find this here: there http://www.BroadcastingCareer.com/ is a nominal load of 5 or $ 6, but I read myself, and solid information that I have observed from inside the business, too. If this is your friend for FREE at this time, you can find a free report on breaking into the radio of a kind I have known for years and have mentored students at my station. Your company will be placed in a station that is protected by a broadcaster for a price (which is much cheaper than broadcasting schools and college tuition, I think). In fact, I've gotten use to students, so I know their system works. The report is here: http://www.FreeRadioReport.com/ Hopefully this helps. When all is said and done, the process can be reduced to a few steps. Develop a network. Get your foot in the door. Once inside, never say no when asked to do something, and volunteers for the extra service. These actions will cause the doors to be opened for you because you are active and placed it where opportunities There, instead of waiting for someone to pass the opportunity on a silver platter.

On DJ Cam’s third full-length, he more than ever proves that he can do it all: lazy breaks, old-school jungle, and even the odd speed- garage tune. What’s even more impressive than his quantity of stylistic references is his quality of execution. Prime examples of this high standard and diversity are “Broadcasting Live,” featuring New York City’s Channel Live; “Baron Samedi”; “Danger Interlude”; “…

Pirate Radio recalls American teen exploitation films of the 1950s, in which square authority figures wanted to keep rock ‘n’ roll’s corrupting influence from children, who just wanted to dance. Though set in 1966 Great Britain, this high-spirited comedy will strike a resonant chord in anyone who ever snuck their transistor radio under their pillow at night to have their world rocked. Musically, 1…

In the suburban hinterlands of Arizona, pirate-radio DJ Hard Harry wages a one-man war against boredom from his bedroom transmitter by night. In between great Lenny Bruce-style stream-of-consciousness rants, Harry attacks the airwaves with the likes of the Descendents, Bad Brains, and Concrete Blonde, as well as occasionally kickin’ it old school with some early hip-hop. By day, though, Hard Harry…
