What mixed drinks are low in acid?
I rarely drink, but this weekend I have tickets to see my favorite DJ and I intend to enjoy the party. However, I don’t tolerate acidic food or drinks well, which means most mixed drinks are out for me (I can’t do anything with soda, tea, or acidic fruit juice, though pear, blueberry, lemon and lime juice are ok). I’m nit even technically supposed to have much alcohol, though I have tolerated vodka well in the past.
What can I order (that a typical club bar would have the ingredients to make), aside from straight shots or beer? Keep in mind that I don’t do this often… Anything that doesn’t somewhat mask the taste of the liquor is going to be tough to choke down without an embarassing expression on my face.
