Dj Beginners Guide
Where I can get something like a beginners guide to creating dance music?
I've got Ableton Live on my pc mixer and a good sound system and pretty, i dj and know my way around my computer ok.I want to know about midi, synthesizers, samplers and all material production you not only learn DJ'ing. All sites, blogs, forums, etc that can help would handy.Thanks:)
Wiki recording is a great site. Also, pick up a copy of the manual mixing engineer. You want to know how to mix / EQ properly and that is a big factor when evaluating EDM tracks. Tweakheadz.com is another good site. You really do not learn much about the production of DJ, and really is not nearly as easy as people make it seem. If you work hard at it and use of technology for their benefit, you will be able to produce decent tracks, but I can not guarantee that it will be publishable. The industry is very competitive. We are lucky through millions of songs a year. Always looking for ways to improve and excel. I do not care what they say about you or what you think of yourself. You are never better than anyone. The jerks trying to screw each other over, bring down other producers who have worked against them, or show off his "super talent production," simply because they "know", a famous producer producers are the absolute worst, and that's something you probably will not read a book or website. As soon as to study the selection of tools: Ableton was a great choice. Many people come here asking about the amateur programs like Audacity or GarageBand and realize they have to work five times harder to get the same results as obtained in Ableton.
