Dj Band Wedding
Anyone recently hire a band or DJ for your wedding reception?
I'm in a group and we'er looking to play some weddings other things. We wondered what the going rate these days was well known by local bands and DJs even. We had an idea of what you have bands before the recession hit, but wondered if the prices have changed since the recession. Really popular local bands used to send $ 10,000, but do not know if they get in those days. I'm in the Philadelphia area. Thanks! Let me clarify – $ 10,000 were not thinking for ourselves. One of them had a few hits radio in its day and has a recognizable name, but we are not assuming that you can load a ton of money or anything.
Im not in the area, but just to give you an idea of what that is felt here in central Wisconsin. DJ I've seen prices range from $ 400 – $ 1300. The bands here are a little over $ 800 – $ 1500. I personally decided I wanted to save as much money as possible and went with a friend for $ 400, plus got an extra hour of DJ time. There is always a demand for music in any wedding event. I would start out at a lower price competition to gain a reputation for themselves. If you are that "good" and then allowed slowly increase your pace. The greater the demand for reservations or more you get should depend on its price goes! Good luck with your business!
