Digital Dj Mixing Equipment
What DJ Equipment / tables / mixer should I buy?
I am a young dj novice looking to buy my first set of tables. I do not want to spin vinyl or CD. While loading a CD into a mixer and have the ability to mix at the tables is something I'd be fine with. More importantly I would like a set digital frame, with a mixer, etc. Anyone have any recommendations on what should I buy? I'd like a decent game, price is negotiable! Please involve any information about accessories and equipment should be able to mix and mash of music for listening pleasure. Thank you. PS: I AM A DJ all genres that this would mix rock, hip hop, etc, not just the house.
numark omni control ($ 350) is a midi controller that already has a sound card / audio interface in it so there is no need to buy one as with most other midi controllers. It comes bundled with Traktor LE but I would like to upgrade to for a hundred some money, and all that remains is to buy a pair of headphones and a laptop if you do not have one. Now, I listed that as was the keep cheap and pretty good quality. now goin to the other extreme point of the price range is the Numark NS7 is fairly high quality stuff and also comes with an integrated interface audio and sound card and comes with Serato ITCH which is pretty darn so good, all that is left is the headphones and a laptop, is a very well set up, although a little big, and costs $ 1,300. Another good midi controller is the vestax vci-300 runs about $ 900 also come with Serato ITCH, and also has an audio interface new only integrated h-phones and a laptop. There is also the least expensive Vestax VCI-100 ($ 500) that has an audio interface so that you would to buy one, and comes with Serato ITCH well, but comes with Traktor LE.
