How to be a dance music dj pc?
I love all kinds of music but most of all – the dance music, esp. trance (Tiesto Love, among many al.) I have no formal musical training other than a bit of classical guitar in my teens (I have 24 now). I just want to do this as a hobby. I see these boys and girls with special mixers and such. Can anyone recommend a user-friendly software and equipment for beginners (like a deck cheapo dj, etc) should I buy to start?
Do not buy anything, just use what you have at home and download software. SoundEdit get for your laptop. bang pots and pans and things persussion for their beats. read revolutionary literature and writing simple melodies make some banal lyrics. not leave the room for a few months. develop an ego enormous. go to anger club owners and sound engineers everywhere. —– It may sound like I'm being trite, but I'm really serious:) Good luck! Remember, when you're writing lyrics, you have to be nervous! I'm talking nothing but lyrics about drugs, sex, sweets and puts to overthrow the government if it wants to do something bigger. N sentimental, love-bird away.
