Tom Cruise: Crazy in Love or just crazy?
Tom Cruise was not the best person to make the case for excessive use or misuse of psychiatric or psychotropic drugs. The way he has been behaving lately, it seems it could be a great need for these medications listed above himself, you know, by the way he been receiving insolent to the interviewers and jump up and down on each table you can find. Come on, Bud, his hot girlfriend, but calm down. You will have all a life to enjoy your itching. Therefore, as it cools.
It does not help anything that Cruise is a "religion" that many consider very crazy. Scientologists, I hear, to pretend they're talking to the ghost of a dead carpenter, while its yield cannibalism in his body. Wait. That is Christianity. Never mind.
Well, maybe I do not know what Scientologists believe, because I've only heard bad things about them and I think that people he has been saying bad things have an agenda of his own.Scientologists do (according to Cruise) believe that control of drugs like Ritalin mind, and antipsychotics are overused or may not be used at all. Ihave to confess that I only saw the interview wherehe Soundbite Cruise was telling Matt Lauer that – Matt – did not know history of psychiatry and then accused Lauer of being simplistic. That can not be the adjective I would choose for these, but it's okay.
The problem is that there is indeed a very good case for making psychiatry in the United States is abusing drugs, but the case must be made by the gray-haired middle-aged doctors and not the sexiest man alive. Tom may indeed be very well read and knowledgeable on the subject, but has zero credentials and – sorry to say – ripped abs just do not cut in this kind of debate.
A good book on the subject is toxic Psychiatry (do not know the author). It is very convincing, very footer, well documented and fascinating in a very horrible. You get into things like lobotomies, electroshock and stuff, then shows how the new class of neuroleptics have been replaced successful the other two techniques, the most forThe. But not in a good way. Another good is Mad in America that explores the history of mental health treatment in the United States USA. It was written after the World Health Organization did a study and found that outcomesfor the mental health of patients in third world countries was considerably better than is currently in the United States. (Hint. has a lot to do with psychiatry toxic stuff).
Finally, there is a book called "Confessions of a heretic major medical will have problems with the medical profession in general. The last two books that do not meet the authors favor, either.
Having read books on Monday. I hope two typed, double-spaced page for each one of them.
