Renaissance in Germany of Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has finally made its debut in the company museum in Stuttgart, Germany. By the meantime, however, people just drive the 2008 C-Class are those who wear badges of identification of Mercedes-Benz.
The car is supported by a new and more spacious cabin and a wider range of technology. A control system called Agility Control damping suspension settings be adjusted according to driving conditions. The new C-Class also gets PreSafe security system, COMAND driver interface and optional optional automatic Thermotronic air conditioning.
This is a slightly larger car than before, as the second generation C-Class it replaces.

The C350, for its part, has the 24-valve DOHC 3.5-liter V6 now seen in the C350 current, which produces 268 hp at 6,000 rpm and 258 lb-ft at 2.400 to 5.000 rpm. The new C350 2008 Mercedes says this engine will offer 272 hp.
For transmission options, The C300 Sport has a short throw, six-speed manual, while the C300 Elegance will feature seven-speed automatic available on the current car. Meanwhile, the C350 Sport will also have a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Mercedes has also brought the technology of adaptive brake Class S entry-level Benz. The system includes brake assist to improve the response in critical situations, in a way that touches very lightly on the water of the rotors in wet weather to improve the braking action, and even help to start off the car to help maintain its position on steep hills.
The standard 17-inch wheels tires are 45 series, while 18-inch wheels with 40-series tires are available as an option.
When the cars out in Europe March, there will be three levels outer edge: Avantgarde, Elegance and Classic. The strike has Avantgarde coupe interface with a single deck to the front bumper, more a grid of three grids with a large Mercedes star in the center position. Classic and Elegance trim levels are traditional upright grilles and wear the Star Mercedes in the traditional place at the top of the nose.
The center stack of controls has been inspired by the S-Class and the attempts of the position of features most used the driver's reach. A multifunction steering wheel with ties to the implementation group will be standard equipment.
The audio-navigation equipment offers more features of information and entertainment, including a connection with Bluetooth compatible phone, a 30-gigabyte hard drive for navigation system which includes a music server with 4 gigabytes of memory and a DVD player.

The engine range offers more power and less fuel consumption. In Europe, Engine choices are: C180 Compressor with 156 hp (previously 143 hp), C200 Compressor with 184 horsepower (20 hp), three six-cylinder units with horsepower numbers unchanged at 204, 231 and 272 hp, and a new C200 CDi, with a four-cylinder common-rail diesel engine capable of 170 hp.
The third generation of Class C (code-named "W204") goes on sale in the U.S. later this summer.
Remains to be seen whether the new Class C can be measured in the deed to the standard set by the BMW 3 Series, the Mercedes-Benz officials admit, is the standard of measurement. It might be possible as late this year will come a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the 500 hp V8 6.2-liter needed something special to get your power on the ground. A wagon version is also not far behind.
The next step is the Geneva auto show, where the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be officially and car enthusiasts will finally be able to get behind the wheel and the tensor Mercedes, and turn the ignition key.
