Play online audio books – history repeats itself
I have tried to convince many friends to listen to audio books online. This is not really different to reading a regular book, except that other person's voice does the reading for you. Apparently, the shift from "traditional book" a compact disc or mp3 has resulted in a large group of skeptics who doubt that it is possible to truly appreciate a novel by listening, rather than physically read. Curiously, it is actually young people who are more difficult to convince to give it a try.
Because my grandmother had grown up listening to stories told on the radio that was more than willing to listen audio books online – in fact, it was a pleasure he could sit back, make your cross stitch or even do the garden, while she listens to the recordings. Audio books have been around for a very long time, in fact, many of our grandparents grew up listening to the British Broadcasting Company, with its classic series. History shows that as early as 1933 an anthropologist JP Harrington investigated and recorded the oral histories of Native American tribes.
The U.S. Congress saw the need to provide additional resources for people with visual disabilities, and as a result the "Books for the Adult Blind" Project was started. This project was the springboard for audio books or talking books "and soon began the mass reproduction of them. In later years, the National Library Service provided a much needed public service to blind citizens across the country through the registration of millions of books in audio format.

Self Help audio books were well and truly in fashion and the initiative was expanded to include audio books on a wide variety of general topics, such as the humanities.

Play online audio book became an industry of billions of dollars producers and helped grow the industry by introducing high-quality recordings done with large casts of voices.
Today, the concept of audio books has taken the technology that has made the product even more accessible to the general public than ever before. The wide variety of products available now can be easily downloaded from the web and its formats incorporated into any digital device, such as listening to cell phones, MP3 players and iPods. In view of these cutting tools and modern style, it is likely that young people today could even have an appreciation of a classic author Jane Austen and William Shakespeare.
Ironically, the advent of online audio book has not been completely abandoned print books, but has only highlighted the joy of books in general.
