Acoustic Audio

Would it be correct to use an amplifier 2000 watts to 1200 watts a receiver?
Do you think a PPA200 PylePro 19 "Rack 2000 Watt Acoustic Amp to power one watt audio speaker 1200 W / 15 "subwoofer a good idea? Do I need anything else? This is for home audio and using DJ. Thanks for your help!
Sure, pumping 2000 watts into a speaker that only rated to take a maximum of 1200 watts no problem. The fireworks display absolutely amaze and astound your audience. Not to mention people who pay when they evacuate all of the site. Seriously, are you speaking a single channel amplifier? If a 2-channel or stereo amplifier, then it is rated for 1000 watts per channel or 2000 watts total. But if you try to pump all the 2000 watt 1200 watt speaker, do not hear anything remarkable, except her silence. That's it. No bang. No flash. Only silence. Except for washing crying for a few hundred dollars down the toilet.
