This review is from: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (Two-Disc Blu-ray / DVD Combo in Blu-ray Packaging) (Blu-ray) – Quite frankly one of the best adventure films I’ve ever seen. It is hilarious, exciting, has good casting, good plot and it just looks damn great. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, as it shouldn’t being a pirate film. And… I just like this movie. I like Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, I like the pirate jokes, I like the world the makers of this movie have created, I like the music… And yeah, if you want me to nitpick, I guess that some the jokes are really stupid and that some of the plot twists are a little strange. But let me also say that none of those things matter in the end. The film is just that enjoyable to watch.
